One of the largest motor transport companies, headquartered in Odesa, reimbursed 7.7 million UAH in unpaid taxes to the state budget. The enterprise operates urban, suburban, and intercity passenger transport.
Detectives established that during July 2024 - March 2025, the head of the company groundlessly formed a VAT tax credit. For this purpose, he reflected transactions for the acquisition of transport services, diesel fuel, and other goods that were not actually carried out. The total amount of such transactions was over 38.6 million UAH.
The corresponding information was reflected in the tax declarations of the enterprise and submitted in electronic form to the tax service authorities. As a result of such actions, the value-added tax was understated by over 7.7 million UAH, which was supposed to enter the state budget.

The general director of the enterprise was notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—intentional tax evasion by an official of an enterprise, which led to the actual non-receipt of funds into the budget in large amounts.
During the pretrial investigation, the suspect reimbursed 7.7 million UAH in unpaid taxes and transferred 500,000 UAH for the needs of the AFU. A motion to release him from criminal liability was sent to court.
