The following are eligible for accreditation to meetings and other public events held by the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine: Ukrainian media registered in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, online media, independent journalists and media workers as well as foreign correspondents and representatives of foreign media accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The accreditation is carried out in accordance with the order of the ESBU dated 06.10.2022 No. 277 "On approval of the instruction on the procedure for accreditation of journalists and media workers in the ESBU" (registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on October 24, 2022 under No. 1306/38642).

Accreditation of media representatives in the ESBU is carried out free of charge for each event separately and upon submission of a media application in the form specified in annex 1 to this Instruction or an application of a media representative in the form specified in annex 2 to this Instruction.

In order to obtain accreditation it is necessary to submit in advance an application for accreditation and a media accreditation application to the Division of Communications of the ESBU via e-mail at: press@esbu.gov.ua

The application and submission on the letterhead of the editorial office signed by the head of the media outlet (or other authorized person) shall contain the following information:

• full name of the media outlet;
• date and number of state registration of the media outlet;
• editorial address and e-mail address of the media outlet or representative;
• surname, first name, patronymic of the media representative in respect of whom the submission is made;
• communication numbers of the media outlet or media representative.

The application must be accompanied by copies of identity documents certifying the person's professional affiliation (identity document of a citizen of Ukraine, foreigner or stateless person, editorial certificate or document issued by a professional association of journalists, press card) and the purpose, date and time of the visit to the ESBU.

The application or request shall be sent to the postal address or e-mail of the ESBU no later than three business days before the scheduled visit and shall be considered within two days from the date of registration of the application or request.

Media access to the event venue starts 1 hour before the start of the event and ends 10 minutes before the start of the event, according to preliminary lists.
