In the Vinnytsia region, ESBU secured the reimbursement of 4.6 million UAH of unpaid taxes to the budget

 A tax evasion scheme on the sale of land has been exposed in the Vinnytsia region. Detectives of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Vinnytsia region have completed the pretrial investigation.

It was established that during 2024-2025, a resident of the Vinnytsia region sold land plots. To reduce tax liabilities, she intentionally indicated a value in the contracts that was lower than the market price. Thus, the amount of unpaid personal income taxes and military taxes for this period exceeded 4.6 million UAH.

The suspect voluntarily and in full reimbursed the damages caused to the budget. The criminal proceedings under part 4 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (tax evasion) were referred to the court, along with a motion to exempt her from criminal liability.

Procedural oversight in the proceedings is carried out by the Vinnytsia Oblast Prosecutor's Office.

According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in accordance with the law and established by a court verdict of conviction.
