Detectives of the Territorial Department of the Economic Security Bureau in the Kyiv region exposed a group of persons who organized the illegal sale of tobacco products through a network of retail outlets.

The investigation established that the residents of Kyiv region arranged the supply of hookah tobacco and electronic cigarettes to the region. The products were sold in Kyiv, Irpen and Sofiivska Borshchagivka.

During the search detectives of the ESBU located and seized tobacco and hookah mixtures, electronic cigarettes, electronic cigarette smoking devices, draft records and computer equipment.

The pre-trial investigation under Part 3 of Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine continues. The full range of persons involved in illegal activities is established.

Procedural management is carried out by prosecutors of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Remind that the ESBU recently referred a case to the court for the illegal sale of tobacco products in the Kyiv region.
