Detectives of the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the Odesa region have shut down an illegal gas station network that sold counterfeit fuel without the necessary permits.
The investigation revealed that the owners purchased fuel of unknown origin at significantly lower prices, without licenses or business registration, and sold it across various districts of Odesa via fueling equipment and storage tanks installed on abandoned sites.
During authorized searches on Buhaivska St., Shota Rustaveli St., and Pavla Kravtsova Ln., detectives seized over 30 tons of A-95 gasoline and diesel, along with dispensers and reservoirs, totaling over UAH 3.5 million in value.
The illegal stations have been fully dismantled.
The pre-trial investigation continues under Art. 15, Art. 201-4, and Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, with procedural oversight provided by the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
