Detectives of the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the Poltava region have completed a pre-trial investigation into the illegal acquisition, storage, and sale of fuel in the city of Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region. The indictment has been sent to court.
The investigation established that a 50-year-old local man, not registered as an entrepreneur, organized the illegal sale of A-95 gasoline. To do this, he independently set up a gas station by installing a reservoir and a fuel dispenser. He purchased gasoline of questionable quality without documents and subsequently sold it at the station for cash and without fiscal receipts.

During the searches, detectives seized 2,600 liters of gasoline that did not meet State Standard (DSTU) requirements.
The man has been notified of suspicion under Part 1 of the Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal acquisition, storage, and sale of excisable goods — fuel).
The criminal case materials have been referred to the court.

Procedural oversight is carried out by the Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office.
In accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict of guilty.
