Within the framework of bilateral cooperation, the exchange of information and experience in combating economic crimes, increasing the level of personnel potential, exchange of methodical materials, and participation in joint investigations and operations are envisaged.
"Today, in the situation in Ukraine, the Economic Security Bureau faces significant challenges, and our cooperation will greatly contribute to the effective performance of the assigned tasks," said the Director of the ESBU, Vadim Melnyk.
"We support the aspirations of the Ukrainian side and are ready to cooperate, in particular, to provide information assistance and share methodical materials," said the Head of the Investigation Service of Georgia, Soso Ramishvili.
This is the first official document on cooperation with foreign partners that has been signed by ESBU since the beginning of its activity.
The memorandum was signed online using electronic means of communication.
