The detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in the Lviv region secured the receipt of more than UAH 13.4 million in taxes to the state budget. These funds were paid by a well-known holding, which includes 60 restaurants and catering establishments. The director of the company admitted her guilt. The case was referred to the court.

The investigation established that employees of the holding received wages in two parts: one was official, and the other was unofficial, paid according to shadow registers.

During the pre-trial investigation, ESBU detectives conducted a series of searches, obtained information on the relevant registers of unaccounted funds, discovered official documents that testify to illegal business operations, cash, draft records, seals, etc.

Company employees were questioned as witnesses.

The investigation fully confirmed the facts of the payment of unpaid wages and collected the necessary evidence base.

Also, the detectives of the Territorial Department initiated a tax audit regarding the correctness of the calculation of taxes and fees at the enterprise during the calculation and payment of wages. According to the results of the inspection, 13.4 million UAH of taxes and fees were added.

The director of the enterprise admitted her guilt at the stage of the pre-trial investigation. The company paid the damages caused to the state to the state budget in full. The suspect in the criminal proceedings is suspected of having committed criminal offenses provided for in Part 2 of Art. 212, Part 3 of Art. 212-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
