Detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Kyiv region exposed the management of a private company in tax evasion of over UAH 8 million.

The investigation established that the company engaged in the wholesale trade of consumer goods became the winner of the tenders in 2021, based on the results of state procurement.

Officials of the mentioned company receiving funds for goods did not reflect business transactions in tax reporting, thus deliberately avoided paying value added tax in particularly large amounts.

The amount of damages caused to the state amounted to more than UAH 8 million.

A pre-trial investigation has been started on the basis of an analytical product prepared by ESBU specialists.

In the course of the pre-trial investigation, the director of the enterprise was notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The Solomyansky District Court of Kyiv imposed a preventive measure on the mentioned person. Investigations are ongoing. Procedural management is carried out by prosecutors of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

We will remind you that recently the employees of the ESBU in Kyiv region provided compensation for losses caused to the state budget in the amount of UAH 3.4 million.
