Detectives of the Territorial Department of the Economic Security Bureau in Kyiv region secured compensation of losses to the state budget in the amount of UAH 3.4 million.

The investigation established that during 2022-2023, officials of a state-owned enterprise whose main activity is growing grain and legumes, intentionally evaded paying a single contribution to the obligatory state social insurance.

The amount of damage caused to the state was UAH 3.4 million. The pre-trial investigation was initiated on the basis of an analytical product prepared by the ESBU experts.

The company's official was served a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offence under Part 1 of Art. 212-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Currently the detectives of the ESBU have secured full compensation for the losses incurred and the criminal proceedings have been forwarded to court.

The procedural supervision was carried out by prosecutors of the Kyiv Region Prosecutor's Office.
