Detectives of the Territorial Department of the Economic Security Bureau in the Lviv region have completed a pre-trial investigation into deliberate tax evasion - a medical enterprise artificially understated income tax by UAH 4.1 million.

The investigation established that during the years 2022-2023, the person responsible for keeping tax records at the enterprise did not include the cost of sold goods but the cost of goods with a markup in the composition of expenses.

She also declared marketing services from controlled FOPs that were current employees of the enterprise. In fact these services were not provided.

During the investigation the company's management admitted their guilt and paid the damages to the state in the amount of over UAH 4.1 million.

Currently the pre-trial investigation has been completed and a petition has been sent to the court to release the person from criminal liability in connection with full compensation for the damages caused to the state.

The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings was carried out by the detectives of the Territorial Department of the Economic Security Bureau in the Lviv region the procedural management was carried out by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
