For three days, employees of the head office and territorial offices of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine participated in the online training "Principled, corruption-free leadership in wartime and postwar times", organized with the support of the Swiss NGO "International Project".

The training was conducted by the international experts of the Pointment Leadership Institute.

During the training, foreign specialists informed about the level of corruption in the world countries, the index of acceptance of corruption facts by the international organization Transparency International and analyzed the causes of corruption offenses.

According to Andriy Grama, the Head of the ESBU Unit of Prevention and Detection of Corruption, proposals were made at the training which according to experts will reduce the level of corruption in our country. Among the main ones are increasing the transparency of activities, introducing mandatory reporting on all functions and processes of the activities of state institutions, and increasing the efficiency of management activities.

During the interactive forms of training, special attention was paid to the formation of leadership qualities of state servants and the disclosure of their potential to perform tasks in the interests of the country and the people of Ukraine. It was also emphasized the importance of observing the principles of ethics and integrity in public service.

The ESBU employees received expert answers to questions about avoiding corruption risks.

The Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine thanks to the Swiss Non-Governmental Organization "International Project" and the experts of the Leading Institute of Leadership for organizing and conducting a high-level training.
