Detectives of the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau in the Odesa region stopped the illegal trade in electronic smoking devices and their accessories on the Internet. The sale was organized by two 22-year-old residents of Odesa.

During the investigation, it was established that electronic cigarettes and e-liquids were illegally sold through a specially created website and a page on the Instagram social network.

The involved parties sent orders all over Ukraine by mail. The payment was accepted by bank card or electronic wallet.

The law enforcement officers conducted 5 searches in the residences of the persons involved in the city center, in the warehouses of products and cars.

More than 600 units of electronic cigarettes and smoking devices, almost 250 cans of liquid, more than UAH 165,000, and a car, as well as computer equipment, bank cards, and mobile phones, were seized. The estimated amount of the confiscated amount is almost UAH 1.3 million.
