In parallel with the staff certification process, the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine has launched a competitive selection for vacant positions. This initiative is part of a comprehensive set of measures aimed at building a professional and high-integrity ESBU team.
As part of this process, a competition has been announced for 20 Senior Detective positions within the Internal Control Department of the ESBU central office. The relevant Order No. 75, dated February 24, 2026, was signed by the Director of the Bureau, Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi.
The Internal Control Department is a key element of the ESBU's internal security system. Its tasks include ensuring the integrity and legality of the Bureau staff's activities, preventing corruption, professional misconduct, and disciplinary offenses, as well as countering illicit influence and attempts to pressure employees.

Document submission is carried out exclusively in electronic format through the personal account on the ESBU Vacancy Portal using the ID.GOV.UA electronic identification system.
The deadline for submission is from February 24 until 18:00 on March 10, 2026.
The competitive selection process includes testing of legal knowledge, assessment of general aptitudes, completion of a practical task, interviews, psychological testing, and a polygraph examination. Information regarding the progress of the competition and candidates admitted to the subsequent stages will be published on the official ESBU website.
