Detectives of the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau in the Chernivtsi region seized almost 400,000 packs of cigarettes from the refrigerator of the truck. The goods were disguised with pallets with empty cans. In this way, it was planned to transport him abroad.

The perpetrators hid the fourth vehicle in the Kyiv region. Together with the detectives of TO of the ESBU, cigarettes without excise tax stamps worth UAH 34 million were seized in the Kyiv region.

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing, and the full range of persons involved in illegal activities and the origin of counterfeit goods are being established.

Earlier, law enforcement officers uncovered three trucks with cigarettes, the total value of which exceeds UAH 21 million.
