Detectives from the Territorial Office in the Lviv region have completed a pre-trial investigation and submitted an indictment to the court against two residents of the Yavoriv district, who were found to have illegally distributed excise goods.
The investigation established that one of the suspects organized a scheme for the illegal sale of electronic cigarettes and liquids for them and subsequently involved his acquaintance in the unlawful activity. They bought and sold nicotine-containing products through their own Telegram channel. The suspects were not registered as business entities and did not have a permit or license to sell excise goods.
During the searches, the detectives of the ESBU found and seized electronic cigarettes with different flavors, liquids for them, and cartridges for POD systems.
The men were notified of their suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Article 28 and Part 2 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal manufacture, storage, sale, or transportation for the purpose of selling excisable goods). The indictment has now been sent to court.
The proceedings were conducted by prosecutors from the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
