The exchange of experience in the field of prevention, detection and investigation of violations that harm the state budget of Ukraine and the financial interests of foreign donors became the main topics discussed at the international conference "Implementation of European Union standards to strengthen the economic security of Ukraine".
The conference participants agreed on effective exchange of information and cooperation with international institutions, exchange of experience and implementation of the best practices of EU institutions, which will help create new relevant tools and strengthen the capacity of law enforcement agencies and state oversight bodies of Ukraine to investigate economic crimes.
International experts, civil servants and business representatives shared the practice of using the tools of financial investigations, strategic and operational analysis, tracking virtual assets, interdepartmental and cross-border cooperation with foreign partners.
The event was organized by the Lviv Regional State Administration in close cooperation and coordination with the Consultative Mission of the European Union in Ukraine and the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine.
The conference was also attended by representatives of law enforcement and state supervision bodies of Ukraine and foreign countries, international and national business associations responsible for ensuring the economic security of the European Union.
