Deputy Director of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine, Serhii Perkhun and detective of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Kyiv region, Oleksandra Shcheglova joined the international event.

The forum was held in Rome and lasted for three days with the participation of the heads of units involved in the investigation of tax crimes.

The program included a theoretical overview and practical discussion of current problems in the field of combating tax crime. In particular the participants discussed new risks of crime development in the age of digital technologies and the role of international cooperation in preventing the spread of cross-border crimes.

The last session of the forum was dedicated to establishing an effective exchange of information regarding recovery and return of financial assets.
