Detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region reported the suspicion to the former head of the state enterprise. By abusing his official position he contributed to the seizure of budget funds in the amount of more than UAH 3 million.

The investigation established that in 2018 and 2019 several contracts were concluded between the state enterprise and a private company for the performance of construction works and works on the improvement of the territory of the state enterprise in the Odesa region.

Further work was actually not performed. Knowing about this, the director of the state-owned enterprise signed all the documents. In this way, the company illegally received more than UAH 3 million of budget funds.

Currently, the former director has been notified of the suspicion of committing the offenses provided for in Part 5 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (appropriation, embezzlement of property or possession of it by abuse of official position), and Part 1 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (official forgery).

The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
