Analysts of the Territorial Department of the Economic Security Bureau in Volyn region found another 31 websites that regularly sold illegal alcohol products.

In the course of analytical and informational activities the Bureau's employees found that the identified resources lacked data on business entities and the availability of relevant licences to sell goods.

In order to stop the illegal activity the analysts of the ESBU sent a letter of recommendation to the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine to block the above-mentioned Internet resources.

Currently, access to ten websites has been blocked.

In total in 2023, thanks to the work of the analysts of the Volyn region 45 websites selling counterfeit alcohol were shut down in the region.

As a reminder the ESBU in Volyn recently seized counterfeit cigarettes and alcohol worth UAH 2 million.
