Detectives of the Territorial Department of the Economic Security Bureau in the Kyiv region secured compensation for damages caused to the state budget in the amount of UAH 4.4 million. The pre-trial investigation was started on the basis of an analytical product prepared by specialists of the ESBU's land management.

The investigation established that during 2023, the company's employees deliberately evaded payment of value added tax during financial and economic activities. The main activity of the company is wholesale trade and production of textile products.

Currently, the head of the enterprise has been notified of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense, provided for in Part 1 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

During the pre-trial investigation, ESBU detectives ensured that the company reimbursed the state for the damages caused to the state in full. The funds have already been paid to the budget, and the criminal proceedings have been referred to the court with a request to release him from criminal responsibility.
