Detectives of the Territorial Department ESBU in Kyiv and Kyiv region prevented the illegal export of 24 tons of soybean oil. Its estimated value is over UAH 1 million.
It was established that a group of people planned to export oil to the territory of a third country through one of the customs posts in the Odesa region. At the same time, individuals forged documents in advance on behalf of the company with signs of fictitiousness. The car with the goods was stopped. So far, detectives of the ESBU have seized 24 tons of soybean oil.
In order to preserve the economic value of the products, a decision is made to transfer the inventory to the management of the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA).
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceeding on the grounds of a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 205-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (forgery of documents submitted for state registration of a legal entity and individual entrepreneurs) and Part 3 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (tax evasion) is being conducted by detectives of the Territorial Department ESBU in Kyiv and Kyiv region under the procedural supervision of prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
As a reminder, ARMA recently sold russian ammonia that had been seized by the ESBU. As a result of the sale of five batches of ammonia weighing about 42 thousand tons, ARMA received over UAH 1.32 billion.
