Detectives of the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the Kyiv region have referred an indictment to court against an entrepreneur who established an illegal gas station in the city of Boryspil.
The investigation established that the gas station operated in violation of the legislative requirements of Ukraine. Specifically, the station lacked licenses for the retail sale of fuel, quality certificates for the fuel, and documentation regarding its origin.
As a result of the searches, ESBU detectives seized two fuel storage tanks, two fuel-dispensing systems, and nearly 8,000 liters of fuel. Additionally, financial and business documentation, computer equipment, and draft records were seized.
The suspect was notified of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal manufacture, storage, sale, or transportation for the purpose of sale of excisable goods). The indictment has been referred to court.
Prosecutorial guidance is provided by the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
