During the meeting of the management of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine with representatives of the Ukrainian Business Council they discussed the establishment of productive cooperation between the ESBU and business to respond to cases of the use of gray schemes, the production of counterfeit goods and other illegal actions.Director of the ESBU, Vadym Melnyk noted that the ESBU is already working towards solving these issues.
"The work of the ESBU is now based on analytics and the main goal of the ESBU is to counter "schemes" of budget embezzlement, tax evasion and various forms of economic threats from russian capital. "White" business can be calm no one will touch entrepreneurs if they do not fall into the risk criteria, "said Director of the ESBU Vadym Melnyk.
Representatives of business associations expressed their expectations from the activities of the ESBU.
"There are many gray schemes in the tobacco industry and there are entire companies that operate without paying taxes. The association has high hopes for the ESBU and hopes that its effective work will change the situation on the market for the better," said Natalia Fesyun, director of the Ukrtiutiun Association.
In order to receive constant feedback from business on all issues, the ESBU is currently setting up an advisory body that will professionally establish this communication.
