Acting Director of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine Eduard Fedorov and first Vice-Rector of the University of customs and finance, chairman of the Academic council Viktor Chentsov discussed the possibilities of training specialists in the educational and professional program "National Economic Security" at the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education.
This specialty involves training specialists in identifying risks in economic activity and combating offenses that infringe on the functioning of the national economy to ensure the security environment of the Ukrainian economy.
"The introduction of a special program for training analysts is of great importance for the development of the Bureau's human resources. We for our part are ready to share the experience and practical developments gained in the course of our activities in assessing the risks and threats of criminal offenses," said Eduard Fedorov, Acting Director of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine.
During the meeting the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine and the University of customs and finance signed a Memorandum of cooperation. The parties also discussed the organization of student practices and internships, as well as the promotion of professional orientation of students.
The meeting was also attended by Anatoliy Makarenko, chairman of the Supervisory board of the University who noted, "The issue of introducing the latest achievements of science in the field of national economic security into the activities of law enforcement agencies in order to create a secure environment for the Ukrainian economy, as well as to improve the quality of education - to attract leading stakeholders in the field of national security is always relevant."
The parties also agreed to organize and conduct joint scientific and practical events, retraining and advanced training of the employees of the ESBU etc.
