Detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Kyiv exposed a group of persons engaged in the illegal production and trade of excise goods without the appropriate permit.

The underground production of tobacco products was organized in one of the warehouses in the Chernihiv region. Finished products were delivered by mail and sold in the capital.

Detectives of TD of the ESBU in Kyiv conducted searches in places of production, storage and sale of excise goods. As a result almost 200 bags of tobacco, 14 boxes with cigarette sleeves - more than 120 thousand pieces, etc. were discovered and seized. The estimated amount of the confiscated amount is UAH 650,000.

So far detectives have established the organizer, manufacturer and sender of illegal tobacco products.
