Detectives of the Territorial Department of the Economic Security Bureau in the Odesa region referred to the court materials regarding an Odesa citizen who secretly produced alcoholic beverages and sold them at the spontaneous markets of the city.

The extra person set up a non-residential premises where he produced alcoholic beverages in unsanitary conditions using artisanal methods.

As a result of the search the detectives of the Territorial Department seized a pump for pumping liquid, watering cans, tetrapacks with a liquid similar to vodka of different volumes, barrels with alcohol with a volume of 200 and 25 liters, polymer canisters with a volume of 25 liters, cardboard packaging for finished products.

Seized property has been seized its estimated value is UAH 1.4 million.

The man was informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 1, 2 of Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to five years with confiscation and destruction of illegally produced or purchased goods, production tools and raw materials for their production.

Currently the indictment has been sent to the court.
