The detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Kyiv informed the director of one of the educational institutions of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and the general director of a private enterprise of the suspicion of the deliberate appropriation of budget funds in particularly large amounts.

During 2018-2019, the suspects abusing their official position, issued known false official documents. They signed acts of acceptance of the completed construction works, certificates on the cost of the completed construction works and expenses related to the implementation of emergency and conservation works in the building in the center of Kyiv.

However the work specified in the documents was incomplete.

In this way the general director of a private enterprise with the help of the director of the educational institution of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, deliberately took possession of budget funds in the amount of about 2.4 million UAH. At present suspicion has been announced to those involved.
