Detectives from the Territorial Department of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the Chernivtsi region have completed the pre-trial investigation regarding the acting director of the state enterprise "Enterprise of the State criminal executive service of Ukraine (No. 67)". He is accused of abuse of official position.
According to the investigation, between 2022 and 2024, the official sold the state enterprise's products to affiliated companies at prices significantly lower than both the market rate and the actual cost. The products in question include wall stone, non-standard stone, limestone flour, and other goods.
These actions resulted in losses to the state exceeding UAH 3 million. Concurrently, the private entities were able to resell the products at a much higher price.
The indictment under Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or official position resulting in serious consequences) has been sent to court.
For the committed offense, the defendant faces up to 6 years of imprisonment with a prohibition on holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities for a period of up to three years, as well as a fine.
