The Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine agreed to the creation of the Sectoral Working Group to support the development of the economic security sector of Ukraine initiated by the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine.

The purpose of the group's activities is to coordinate cooperation in the direction of supporting the development of the economic security sector of Ukraine and conduct a permanent dialogue with development partners, agree on common areas of cooperation within the framework of current international technical assistance projects, as well as discuss and agree on areas of cooperation in the course of preparing future projects.

The group was joined by representatives of international organizations, foreign diplomatic missions in Ukraine, as well as the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The next stage will be the election of the leadership of the Sectoral Working Group and approval of the composition of the secretariat.

ESBU initiated the creation of a permanent advisory body "Sectoral Working Group on Support for the Development of the Economic Security Sector of Ukraine" to ensure a systematic approach to the implementation of reforms in the economic security sector of Ukraine, in order to implement the provisions of the National Security Strategy of Ukraine, approved by the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated 09/14/2020 No. 392/2020, supporting the institutional development of the ESBU, implementing international experience, as well as attracting international technical assistance.
