In Odesa, an entrepreneur who worked in the restaurant business sector reimbursed the state nearly 2 million UAH of unpaid unified social contribution.
Detectives of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Odesa region established that the entrepreneur, who conducts activities in the restaurant business sector, during 2024–2025 did not reflect the payment of wages to 12 hired employees in accounting and tax records. As a result, over 1.9 million UAH of unified social contribution did not enter the funds of compulsory state social insurance.
The fact of the violation was confirmed by the conclusion of a forensic economic expert examination and other evidence collected during the pretrial investigation.

Before the notification of suspicion, the entrepreneur fully paid the amount of the unpaid unified contribution, as well as financial penalties.
In connection with the full reimbursement of damages, the prosecutor applied to the court with a motion to release the entrepreneur from criminal liability on the basis of part 4 of article 212-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
