Notification of Corruption

 Information about possible corruption offenses and offenses related to corruption, as well as other violations of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption" committed by employees of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Poltava region, can be reported via:

Information may be reported either anonymously or with attribution of authorship. The confidentiality of information and compliance with the rights and guarantees of whistleblower protection, as defined by the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption," is guaranteed.

A whistleblower is a person who has reported possible facts of corruption or corruption-related offenses, or other violations of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption" committed by another person, if such information became known to them in connection with their activities, service, or studies.

Important! A whistleblower has the right to confidentiality and anonymity, as well as to the ensuring of security for themselves and their close persons, property, and housing in case of a threat to life and health, or to the refusal of such measures.

Such information is subject to mandatory consideration if:

- the information became known to the individual in connection with their labor, professional, economic, social, scientific activity, service, or studies, or their participation in procedures provided for by law that are mandatory for the beginning of such activity, service, or studies, and the individual has the conviction that such information is reliable;

- the information contains factual data indicating the possible commission of a corruption or corruption-related offense, or other violations of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption," which can be verified.

Information may be reported either anonymously or with the indication of authorship. The confidentiality of information and compliance with the rights and guarantees of whistleblower protection, as defined by the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption," is guaranteed.

Main tasks:

development, organization, and control over the implementation of measures to prevent corruption offenses and corruption-related offenses.

Main functions:

1) develops draft acts on the prevention and detection of corruption in the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Poltava region;

2) provides employees of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Poltava region with methodological and consultative assistance on compliance with legislation regarding the prevention of corruption;

3) exercises control over compliance with anti-corruption legislation in the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Poltava region;

4) organizes work on the assessment of corruption risks in the activities of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Poltava region, the preparation of measures for their elimination, submits proposals for such measures to the head of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Poltava region, and is involved in the work of the commission on corruption risk assessment to perform these functions;

5) takes measures to detect conflicts of interest and promotes their resolution, informs the head of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Poltava region and the National Agency about the detection of conflicts of interest and the measures taken for their resolution;

6) carries out verification of the fact of submission of declarations by the subjects of declaration who work at the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Poltava region (who worked or are or were members of the competitive commission formed at the Territorial Office, or members of the Public Council of Integrity), in accordance with part one of Article 51-2 of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption," and notifies the National Agency of cases of non-submission or late submission of such declarations in the manner prescribed by law;

7) cooperates with whistleblowers, ensures compliance with their rights and guarantees of protection provided for by the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption";

8) notifies the head of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Poltava region in writing about the commission of corruption offenses or corruption-related offenses, and other violations of the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption" by the employees of the Territorial Office in order to ensure compliance with the requirements of parts two, four, and five of Article 65-1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption";

9) carries out other measures regarding the prevention and detection of corruption.
