Main tasks:
1) ensuring the activities of the Territorial Office in the field of information technology, and implementing state policy in the areas of digitalization, innovation, computerization, and electronic governance;
2) ensuring the functioning, administration, and development of information, electronic communication, and information and communication systems (hereinafter referred to as ICS) of the Territorial Office, including departmental information resources, registries, databases, and software and hardware complexes;
3) carrying out activities in the field of ICS of the Territorial Office, introducing and utilizing modern information (automated) technologies, and organizing the technical operation of communication facilities and computing equipment of the Territorial Office and its structural units;
4) organizing the creation, implementation, and administration of: automated systems (hereinafter referred to as AS), automated user workstations, as well as information, communication, and information and communication systems and technologies (hereinafter referred to as the Systems);
5) organizing and coordinating technical support for users of the ICS of the Territorial Office, ensuring the continuity of their operations, and providing prompt responses to incidents and inquiries;
6) ensuring the operation, modernization, and development of the IT infrastructure of the Territorial Office, including server, network, and communication equipment, workstations, data processing centers, and cloud services with appropriate protection;
7) ensuring information interaction of the Territorial Office with other state bodies, local self-government bodies, enterprises, institutions, and organizations through the integration of information systems, the use of state electronic resources, and electronic interaction systems;
8) implementing innovative digital solutions and information technologies in order to increase the efficiency of the activities of the Territorial Office, automate processes, perform analytical data processing, and support management decisions;
9) participating, within the scope of competence of the Department, in organizing and ensuring information protection within the AS and ICS of the Territorial Office, as well as in implementing cryptography, cybersecurity, and cyber defense measures for information technologies and technical innovative technologies;
10) participating, within the powers established by law, in the cryptographic protection of information owned by the Territorial Office, as well as restricted-access information, the protection of which is mandated by legislation;
11) participating in the coordination of measures for the technical protection of information, the protection of which is mandated by the legislation of Ukraine;
12) ensuring regulatory compliance and legal alignment in the fields of digital development, innovation, digital transformation, and digitalization of the Territorial Office;
13) organizing technical and information support for the use of qualified electronic signatures and electronic seals within the Territorial Office;
14) participating in the design, development, creation, authorization, and operation of comprehensive information protection systems (hereinafter referred to as CIPS), authorized security systems, or information security standard compliance certifications for the ICS of the Territorial Office;
15) participating in organizing the implementation and maintaining the operation of the antivirus protection system for the AS and Systems, and executing organizational and technical measures to ensure the protection of the AS and Systems against cyber threats;
16) organizing the advancement of digital competence among employees of the Territorial Office, and providing advisory and methodological support on matters concerning the use of the ICS of the Territorial Office and digital services;
17) ensuring the execution of tasks related to state secrets within the scope of its powers, and complying with the secrecy regime in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
