Personal reception of citizens

Attention! Personal reception of citizens is temporarily suspended due to martial law and the epidemiological situation.

Since February 24, 2022, martial law has been in effect in Ukraine. To ensure the safety of employees and visitors, prevent unauthorized access to the premises of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Chernivtsi region, and prohibit the entry of explosive objects, the buildings and adjacent territory of the Territorial Office are under enhanced security. Access restrictions for unauthorized persons have been established, specifically regarding the citizens' reception area.

According to the clarifications of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights regarding the exercise of the right to appeal under martial law, the possibility of exercising certain citizens' rights may be affected by:

• establishment of a special operational regime for public authorities;
• restrictions on freedom of movement;
• enhanced security of facilities;
• control over entry and exit;
• other security measures.

According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, cases of new coronavirus variants – “Nimbus” and “Stratus” – have been laboratory-confirmed in the country. To prevent the spread of acute respiratory diseases and implement measures against COVID-19, personal reception of citizens has also been temporarily suspended for epidemiological reasons.

At the same time, the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Chernivtsi region has ensured alternative ways to exercise the right to appeal:

• via the drop box located on the premises of the Territorial Office at: 200-A Heroiv Maidanu St., Chernivtsi, Chernivtsi region

• orally – by calling the "hotline" at +38 (096) 991 32 13; appeals are accepted daily from Monday to Friday, between 14:00 and 16:00.

The resumption of in-person citizen receptions will be announced additionally on the official ESBU website.
