Verdict for an underground alcohol warehouse in the Vinnytsia region: dangerous products will be destroyed, and raw materials will be received by medics of the NGU

 By a court verdict, a resident of the Vinnytsia region was found guilty of illegal acquisition and storage for sale of illegally manufactured alcohol and alcoholic beverages. The confiscated alcohol was transferred for medical use to the medical center of the National Guard.

In the course of the pretrial investigation, detectives of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Vinnytsia region established that the man ordered a batch of alcohol and alcoholic beverages with the aim of subsequent sale. At the same time, he was not registered as an entrepreneur and did not have a license for trading in alcoholic beverages.

In the course of the inspection of the warehouse premises, detectives detected and seized over a hundred 10-liter PET bottles of vodka and 16 plastic barrels with a volume of 200 liters each, filled with alcohol.

By court decision, the offender was sentenced to a fine of 85,000 UAH (5,000 times the minimum tax-free minimum income of citizens). The alcohol products in PET bottles and plastic containers were confiscated and ordered for destruction, and the alcohol barrels (total volume: 3,200 liters) were transferred by court decision to a medical center of the National Guard of Ukraine for medical use.
