The Dnipropetrovsk region is one of the key economic centers of Ukraine. Powerful industrial and budget-forming enterprises and large businesses operate here, and exports and imports are developing. Therefore, the request for the presence of the ESBU in the region has been repeatedly voiced by entrepreneurs, the public, and representatives of other state bodies.
The Director of the ESBU, Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi, announced the creation of the territorial department in the Dnipropetrovsk region on his Telegram channel.
The department has already been registered as a legal entity. Roman Stavinskyi has been appointed as the temporary acting head, and a vacancy has been opened for the position of deputy head.
"The presence of the ESBU in the Dnipropetrovsk region is not a matter of geography. It is a matter of protecting the region's economy and the state's resilience," noted Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi.
The registration of the department is the first step towards the beginning of its work. The next step is to form a team of specialists who know the specific characteristics of the Dnipropetrovsk region, will maintain contact with honest businesses, and will ensure results in countering economic offenses.
"The entry in the register by itself will not stop any scheme. This will be done by people who know the region, hear honest business, and bring cases to a result," emphasized the Director of the ESBU.
As Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi concluded, to the question about the presence of the ESBU in Dnipro, there is already a specific answer. The next one must be found in the results of the work of the Territorial Office.
