Investigations conducted by the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine (ESBU) are a necessary step by the state to protect the economy. This was emphasized by Acting Director of the ESBU, Serhii Perkhun, during the panel discussion "Regulatory Policy and De-shadowing: How Can Business and the State Transition to Quality Partnership?", held as part of the annual retail industry event – RAU EXPO 2025.
During the event, participants discussed the need to establish transparent, clear, and predictable rules that foster trust, partnership, and fair competition. The panel also continuously focused on ways to de-shadow the economy and on modern regulatory policy as a foundation for sustainable business development in Ukraine.
RAU EXPO 2025 was organized by the Ukrainian Retail Association. It brought together representatives of government bodies, responsible businesses, and civil society institutions. The discussion involved representatives from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the State Tax Service of Ukraine, the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, as well as major retail companies and industry associations.
