The Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine has started regular personal reception of citizens. The ESBU officials will receive citizens by appointment on the established days and hours according to the approved schedule.
You can sign up for a personal appointment by phone: +38 (044) 236 13 97.
Previously, due to quarantine restrictions and the introduction of enhanced security measures in state bodies following Russia's full-scale invasion, citizens' applications were accepted exclusively in written and electronic forms.
Currently, citizens have the opportunity to address the heads of the body personally. This will allow for a more prompt review of complex applications, strengthen interaction with the public, and increase the level of trust in the Bureau.
The introduction of personal receptions corresponds to the principle of the ESBU's 'open face' – the readiness not to silence problems, but to identify, discuss, and solve them. This decision is another important step towards direct communication with people, ensuring every appeal is heard, and every issue is handled as transparently and effectively as possible," noted the Director of the ESBU, Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi.
Personal reception of citizens will be conducted in accordance with the Procedure for the Consideration of Citizens' Appeals and the Organization of Personal Reception of Citizens at the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine and its Territorial Offices.
Specifically, the Procedure stipulates that citizens' appeals during a personal reception are considered by the heads of the structural units of the ESBU responsible for the area of work to which the issue relates. If the issue is not resolved on its merits, the reception will be conducted by the Deputy Directors and the Director of the ESBU.
Regular personal receptions of citizens have also been introduced in all territorial departments of the ESBU.
