Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi, Director of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine, and Dmytro Luk`yanenko, Rector of the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
The document provides for the development of cooperation in the fields of education, science, and analytics. The parties will combine the practical experience of ESBU detectives with the university's academic foundation to train specialists in the field of economic security and combating economic crime.
“We are talking about practical tools that allow us to identify risks earlier. This strengthens the ESBU's capacity to act proactively,” noted Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi.
In particular, the cooperation includes joint scientific research and conferences, participation in international programs, the exchange of information and expert developments, the advancement of analytical research, and the training and professional development of specialists. A separate focus is the drafting of legislative amendments to eliminate the prerequisites for economic offenses.
