Detectives of the Territorial Department of the Economic Security Bureau in Chernivtsi region sent an indictment to the court against the director of the local company importing vegetables and fruits

The investigation established that during 2022-2023, the company sold vegetables and fruits at discounted prices and for cash which led to the evasion of the payment of value added tax and the Unified tax. The amount of losses to the State Budget is UAH 5.4 million.

So far the detectives of the Territorial Department have provided compensation for the damages caused to the budget in full.

The director was notified of the suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The indictment was sent to the court.
