By the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Deputy Director of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine, Serhii Perkhun, was temporarily appointed as the Acting Director of the Bureau until the appointment of the ESBU Director in accordance with the established procedure, but not more than for one year.

Serhii Perkhun will carry out general coordination and control of the activities of the central office and territorial offices and ensure the performance of other tasks stipulated by the Law of Ukraine "On the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine of Ukraine".

Meanwhile, Andrii Pashchuk will continue to work as a Deputy Director of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine.

Pursuant to Article 16 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine", in case of dismissal or absence of the Director, his powers are exercised by the First Deputy, and in his absence – by the Deputy, but not more than one year.
