Detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Odesa region completed a pre-trial investigation into the illegal manufacture and sale of tobacco products. The indictment was sent to court.

It was established that a 35-year-old resident of Odesa bought and stored illegally manufactured tobacco products for almost a year. Later he sold the products through ads on the Internet and in Odesa markets.

Detectives of the Territorial Department conducted searches in the garage belonging to the suspect, where they found and seized more than 4 thousand illegally manufactured e-cigarettes of well-known brands with heating liquid. The total estimated value of the seized goods is over UAH 1.5 million. The property was seized.

The pre-trial investigation under Part 1 Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine was conducted by detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Odesa region with the procedural supervision of the Odesa Region Prosecutor's Office.
