In the Vinnytsia region, ESBU detectives have ensured the recovery of over UAH 5.5 million in unpaid taxes to the budget

 Detectives of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Vinnytsia region have completed a pretrial investigation into the intentional evasion of taxes on a significant scale. The damages have been reimbursed in full.

The pretrial investigation established that between 2020 and 2025, a resident of the Vinnytsia region sold land plots, residential houses, and apartments in Vinnytsia and the surrounding region by understating the value of the real estate in sales documents.

As a result of these illegal actions, the budget suffered losses in the form of unpaid personal income tax and military tax totaling over UAH 5.5 million.

During the pretrial investigation, the suspect was fully reimbursed for the damages caused.

The criminal proceedings have been referred to court with a motion to release the individual from criminal liability based on Part 4 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, "Evasion of taxes, fees (mandatory payments)."
