In Poltava region, three men will be tried for the illegal production of liquids for electronic cigarettes, according to materials from the ESBU

 Detectives from the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the Poltava region have completed the pre-trial investigation into a group of individuals who organized the illegal manufacturing and sale of excisable goods, specifically liquids for e-cigarettes.

Three men organized the underground production in Poltava without any permits or licenses. The products were sold throughout Ukraine via postal delivery. Orders for the goods were accepted through a Telegram channel and a website.

During the pre-trial investigation, a series of searches were conducted, including at the illegal production site. Specialized equipment for manufacturing the liquids, chemical raw materials for production, containers, labels, packaging, and finished e-cigarette liquids were seized and placed under arrest.

All three accomplices have been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 28 and Parts 1, 2 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—the illegal manufacturing, storage, and sale of excisable goods committed by a group of persons upon prior conspiracy.

The materials of the criminal proceeding have been forwarded to the court.

Procedural guidance is being carried out by the Poltava Regional Prosecutor’s Office, and operational support is provided by the Security Service of Ukraine Office in the Poltava region.
