The court found a 38-year-old man guilty of organizing the illegal sale of fuel in the Odesa region. He was sentenced to a fine with confiscation of the goods.
Detectives of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Odesa region established that a resident of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, without the relevant permissive documents, purchased fuel of unknown origin throughout 2024 at prices significantly below market rates. For its storage and sale, the man purchased special containers, hoses, fuel dispensing nozzles, and other equipment.

Subsequently, the suspect sold petrol and diesel fuel in the city of Tatarbunary and the village of Spaske. For this purpose, he set up fuel dispensing equipment on non-residential premises and cargo vehicles, which he used as mobile gas stations.
During 10 authorized searches, detectives seized over 12 tonnes of diesel fuel and petrol, 14 containers with volumes ranging from 500 to 3,000 liters equipped with refueling systems, as well as 4 vehicles that were used as mobile gas stations.

The total value of the seized property amounts to nearly 3 million UAH.
The court found the suspect guilty under Part 1 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and imposed a penalty in the form of a fine with the confiscation of the illegal products.

The seized 12.2 thousand liters of diesel fuel worth nearly 1 million UAH were transferred for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by a court decision.
Procedural guidance was carried out by prosecutors of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
