A car smuggled into Ukraine will now be used by servicemen from one of the Volyn brigades.
This concerns one of the vehicles imported into Ukraine under the guise of humanitarian aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine but later planned to be sold. Detectives of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Volyn region prevented the illegal sale of the vehicle and seized it within the framework of criminal proceedings.

Upon the motion of the ESBU, the court made a decision to hand over the car for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is not the first case in which property seized by detectives of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Volyn region is directed to the needs of the Defense Forces. Previously, seven cars imported into Ukraine by smuggling means, a minibus, and ten unmanned aerial vehicles used for the illegal movement of cigarettes across the border, as well as fuel, tobacco products, and timber, were handed over to the military.
The pretrial investigation in the criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 201-4 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (smuggling of excisable goods) is ongoing.
Operational support is carried out by employees of the 6th Border Guard Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in cooperation with the Department of the SSU in the Volyn region. Procedural guidance – Volyn Regional Prosecutor's Office.
