The heads of the Territorial Department ESBU in Lviv region, Lviv region Military Administration, Lviv region Prosecutor's Office, Security Service of Ukraine Office in Lviv region, Lviv region State Tax Service and Lviv Customs signed a memorandum on the establishment of an Interagency center for Economic Security risk analysis.

The goal of combining the efforts of regional authorities and law enforcement officers is the exchange of information and data analysis regarding possible offenses that pose a threat to economic security in the region. The center will function as a permanent interagency working group.

The heads of law enforcement agencies delegate representatives to the Interagency center, the Lviv regional prosecutor's office will coordinate cooperation.

The participants of the Center will carefully monitor the use of funds received from international donors and intended for the development and restoration of the Lviv region.

"Analysts and detectives of the ESBU in the Lviv region work professionally with information databases. Our task is to ensure the receipt of taxes and payments to the budgets of all levels. We are ready not only to cooperate openly with our colleagues, but also to increase the efficiency of joint work thanks to the possibilities of cross-border exchange of information with international partners," Vitaliy Dragunov stressed.

Representatives of the regional military administration and law enforcement agencies of the Lviv region agreed on joint actions to prevent tax evasion attempts, VAT fraud, creation of fictitious business entities, violation of the rules for declaring goods moving across the customs border, as well as illegal production, storage and sale excise goods.
