ESBU sends two indictments to court regarding the illegal circulation of excisable goods in the Lviv region

 Detectives of the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the Lviv region have completed pre-trial investigations in two criminal proceedings regarding the illegal circulation of excisable goods. The indictments have been submitted to the court.

The investigation established that two entrepreneurs illegally purchased and stored excisable goods without excise tax stamps for the purpose of further sale.

The seized items include e-cigarettes, e-liquids, nicotine pouches, and hookah tobacco, which were stored in a shop and a warehouse.

The actions of the suspects have been qualified under Part 1 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal manufacture, storage, or sale of excisable goods).

The indictments in these criminal proceedings have been forwarded to the court.

Procedural oversight was carried out by prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office. Operational support was provided by the 6th Border Guard Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
