Detectives of the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the Lviv region continue systematic efforts to combat the illegal fuel trade and bring the market out of the shadows. In total, 94 gas stations have been inspected.
As of March 2026, ESBU detectives have processed 94 filling stations across the region. Based on the inspection results, it was established that 33 gas stations operated with valid retail fuel licenses. The legality of these licenses has been confirmed, and no violations were found.

At the same time, 51 gas stations were operating without the required licenses or in violation of licensing conditions. As part of these operations, 18 illegal gas stations were dismantled. Administrative protocols were filed for violations at an additional 14 sites, while 19 locations were confirmed to have no actual operational activity.
The Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine continues its systematic work to clear the fuel market of illegal operators, as the activities of such stations pose risks to consumer safety, facilitate tax evasion, and lead to losses in the state budget.
