Detectives of the Territorial Department ESBU in Zakarpattia region seized tobacco products without excise stamps and a vehicle. The estimated value of the seized excisable goods is UAH 1.5 million.

In the course of the pre-trial investigation, storage locations of illegally manufactured tobacco products were established. According to the results of the authorized searches, tobacco products of various brands without Ukrainian excise tax stamps in the total amount of more than 38 thousand packs were discovered and seized.

Identified and seized tobacco products without Ukrainian excise tax stamps and the vehicle in which they were transported were recognized as physical evidence and arrested.

The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on the grounds of criminal offenses provided for in Part 1 of Art. 204, Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is carried out by the detectives of the TD ESBU in Zakarpattia region under the procedural guidance of the Zakarpattia region Prosecutor's Office.
